I came to The Moore Law Office after what I considered a wrongful termination after filling for FMLA. George Moore listened and agreed. He worked with me to get a settlement and sued my former employer. I would highly recommend this law office! Everyone was kind throughout the entire process. — Rosey Bird 05/28/2024 |

I cannot express my gratitude to this office enough! I’m a mom of 3 children of which I share custody with their dad yet I am out of state. I was having significant issues with the court order being followed and with me getting appropriate time with our children. Children need balance and balance equals both parents, not just one. Atty Jennifer Moore and her staff have been so easy to work with, courteous, and efficient, providing me with the support and legal efforts necessary to make a significant difference! Atty Moore’s work is impeccable! Speaking from 10 years experience of going through court systems fighting for time with my kids in CA and NC and also watching other cases and their attorneys at work, I have to say that she is by far the best attorney I’ve seen thus far! She has an amazing way of bringing the truth to the center of the courtroom floor. And when the truth is all that needs to be heard, acknowledged and acted upon, it’s an automatic win in my book! She pays great attention to detail and addresses all major concerns in a professional manner. Her office staff is also great! They’re all kind and attentive to email responses and returning phone calls in a timely fashion. This team works well together and is compassionate about their clients’ needs. Thank you Atty Moore and office for all of your help! This time with my kids was well overdue, much needed, and priceless! I thank you for assisting us with getting that. We made memories my kids and I will remember always! I look forward to continuing to work with you for any needs that may arise! — Sharhonda Pierce 05/20/2024 |

Working with Jennifer Moore during the chaos of my trial, she was the kind of representation you want. The entire time, I felt that her staff and herself communicated with me very well. Jennifer is knowledgeable, professional, and able to act quickly in stressful settings. Being organized and prepared showed me that she was determined to work her hardest for me. I truly recommend her to all in need of an attorney. I cannot thank her and her staff enough for the help and compassion they have given me. — Client 11/29/2023 |

I was initially referred to Jennifer Moore regarding a complex custody case. During our consultation she took the time to hear all of my concerns, providing suggestions that I could easily understand. For a year and a half *during lockdown* she represented me. Jennifer and her team sifted through many hundreds of pages of personal information and other related documentation to find those key components to present to the court. We had numerous hearings that eventually culminated in a trial. Her legal expertise, ethical nature, eye for detail, straight-forward guidance, and overall dedication ultimately provided me with sole custody of my grandchild. I rehired her when I realized a modification would be necessary. Jennifer and her team knows my case better than I do, and I know there is no one more capable of doing the job. Having a knowledgable, personable, and trusted attorney is important - and this can be found with Jennifer Moore and the entire Moore Law Team! — Client 10/26/2023 |

It's always great to work with a strong, professional woman. Jennifer is honest almost to a fault. She doesn't make empty promises and will tell it like it is, which you need to hear, whether you like it or not. She is also incredibly smart. She is an expert in family law and and it shows. She considered my feedback and would tell me how realistic it was or was not. I had no problem sharing the reins with her. — Client 10/26/2023 |

Jennifer & Flo were excellent to work with and were very thorough and professional throughout the entire course of my dilemma. They saw the case through from the very beginning to the end & beyond, and I won my case. Child custody is an extremely emotional roller-coaster, and they were very good and making sure emotions did not dictate actions & decisions. In court, Jennifer was excellent at calling the other party out for not telling the truth, which is something that is often overlooked in family court. She trained me effectively on how to handle cross-examination and what to do and, most importantly, not to do in the courtroom. Instead of me trying to expose every fault of the other party, she kept me focused solely on the goal at hand: winning. — Client 10/24/2023 |

This review is late in the coming-- but from the heart. As a young professional that faced significant issues within my environment, George was a compassionate, kind, and thorough individual. I admit that I could be a less than responsive client at times due to the emotional distress the situation had caused me-- but he never wavered or faltered, and everything was done in a timely manner with impeccable attention to detail. He helped me understand the laws surrounding my case, as well as my rights, and helped me understand the next steps. At no point did I ever feel as though he spoke above my head or in a way that was inaccessible to me as a layperson. For the level of service that you get with this firm, I found absolutely no fault with his rates. He is responsive, helpful, kind, professional, well educated, thorough, and very, very good at this. If I had to do this all over again, I wouldn't question my choice of council for even a heartbeat. 6/5 stars, and thank you George for your help. — Sparrow Branks 08/18/2023 |

They can get the job done, for sure. Be patient and trust them. I had very difficult time dealing with my opposition. They made horrible (and baseless) accusations against me. True story, Jennifer Moore protected me (and my family) from those savages. She ended up winning the overall case for me too! She is one of the best (family law attorneys) in the city. I had a difficult case as my ex took our daughter and moved to North Carolina. I am in California. I was denied visitation so I hired Jennifer. I met her once. In that consultation she informed me that although difficult I should be able to get joint 50/50 custody. Most paperwork was done through email, postal mail with notaries and legal envelopes. All in all, I was given 50/50 custody and my daughter was given residency in both states. I couldn't of asked for anything more. The relief I was given by Jennifer and her assistant Flo was tremendous. I didn't have to appear in court as it was held in North Carolina. — Client 11/25/2017 |

I had a difficult custody issue. My ex took our daughter out of state and refused to let me see her. I hired Jennifer Moore. Jennifer was able to work with the North Carolina courts and me in California with only one actual person to person meeting. She had my ex's emergency custody order thrown out, daughter was given dual state residency, and I received my right to 50% custody. Between Jennifer and Flo, all my questions were answered and my requests taken. They negotiated a long distance, out of state custody issue and handled it perfectly. The stress off my shoulders was tremendous. Very professional. — Preston Taylor 11/23/2017 |

Jennifer and Flo helped my other half and I with a custody matter I am the first to admit that we are not the easiest or most patient clients since our professional work revolves around making business operations more efficient (and the legal system is anything but!). We passed 100's of documents, emails, text messages to Jennifer and Flo and somehow they managed to keep them organized and available as evidence when needed. We feel that Jennifer did an amazing job understanding where we were coming from, setting realistic expectations as to the outcome, and working with us at every step of the way as new fuel was added to the fire. We ended up at trial for ~6 days and Jennifer argued our case and advocated for us in the way I would have done myself... had I gone to law school and passed the bar, of course. Our case was neither easy nor a normal custody battle; it was not an easy fight and we are so grateful that Jennifer was able to take everything we threw at her in stride and eloquently present our position. If I had to complain about anything, it would be that sometimes communication would take a bit longer than we'd like. However, we blame this as much on the system as we do Jennifer and Flo. When you have multiple attorneys involved, bickering parties and a judge there's a lot of paper to shuffle and a lot of balls in the air. It can take several days to coordinate all of those parties to get something done, but again, I think this is more just how these cases work and less how Jennifer and Flo do. We will continue to use Moore Law in the future for all of our family law needs and encourage others to do so as well. — Holly Ryall 04/08/2017 |

George Moore is an experienced, caring, successful attorney. I made an appointment with his office and explained that although at the time he mainly handled wrongful death cases, I considered my having been terminated by my healthcare employer wrongful, and tantamount to possible death of my nursing career. I explained the specifics, and promised to teach him all about proper delivery of medical care and medical laws if he would represent my suit. Mr. Moore agreed. Because the company was the largest of its kind nationwide, they had resources to spare, and fought our efforts for six years. Mr. Moore learned the ins and outs of NC Board of Nursing’s rules, public health rules, and the insidious ways I knew as an insider in the field regarding how facilities could fake records, black-ball fired employees, and outright lie about patients’ conditions. The case was first dismissed in local district court, but Mr. Moore saw an opening that the judge had mumbled. He appealed, and we won the right to be heard in a higher court. We won. The company appealed, and they lost. Ultimately, we won in the NC Supreme Court, and improved the state’s public health law. Before the win, NC had a practically unassailable “hire and fire at will” law: Our case now prevents employers from firing a nurse when they abide by "public policy" -- nursing regulations and the spirit and specifics of public healthcare law -- encouraging competent delivery of care versus facility “politics” and arbitrary and baseless firings. The case set national precedent, enabling nurses and patients nationwide. Mr. Moore represented me for free for six years, and received a just portion of the company’s settlement payout to me. Over the years our relationship deepened beyond mere attorney-client to mutually respecting friends. He is a shining example of how a sharp, trusting, and tenacious attorney can aid the little guy, and I am proud to extol his virtues to everyone. -- Dixie Deerman Asheville, NC — Coven Oldenwilde HPS 02/01/2017 |

Ms. Moore won a family law case for me that I expected to lose. She is a consummate professional in the courtroom, yet explained processes and concepts clearly to me in laymen's terms. You’ll be charged per email, regardless of whether or not any legal action is taken (it won’t be) Looks like there is more time spent defending themselves rather than their clients. If you're looking to do all the work yourself, never actually ses Jennifer, and be dropped from a case load mid-case, with no explanation, and if you don’t want to find out at a court date rather than ahead of time, she's the right one for you! Oh, and when you leave a bad review, they’ll deny you were ever a client. Enjoy! — Katie 01/08/2026 |

This law office is completely unequipped to handle modern employment law cases. The attorney was shockingly uneducated on clear-cut workplace retaliation, ADA violations, HIPAA privacy breaches, and discrimination law. Instead of recognizing textbook legal violations, he was dismissive, condescending, and gaslighting—forcing me to explain basic legal concepts, only to victim shame me for staying in a job where I was financially and medically trapped. Rather than advocating for employee rights, he made me justify my own case, despite having prepared over 500 pages of documentation and proof of clear violations, retaliation, and systemic discrimination—questioning clear ADA noncompliance and disability discrimination. I even had to explicitly explain how multiple diagnoses and conditions are legally protected, and he still failed to recognize obvious retaliation. He clearly does not understand modern workplace environments or employment law beyond the most basic level. On top of that, I was financially and physically displaced due to a Hurricane Helene, another concept that didn’t warrant even the slightest bit of compassion or understanding from him. I came in for a consultation prepared to pay $400 for solid legal advice but ended up wasting my time repeating myself, trying to explain the nature of modern remote work environments, cloud computing, and corporate tech consulting. He should have paid me for educating him on these concepts—even though I doubt he remembered anything that was discussed after I left the room. If you are looking for a lawyer who is compassionate, understands nuance, and is actually familiar with employment law from this century, look elsewhere. You should not have to repeat yourself multiple times, be further gaslit, or feel more exhausted after a legal consultation than you did before it. The lack of competence extends beyond legal matters. If you expect a law office that at least knows how to update their own Google business listing, provide clear office directions, or even put up a sign so clients can find them, you’ll be disappointed there too. If they can’t even manage basic business operations, how can they be trusted with a complex legal case? Do not waste your time. — Alan Weissman 02/05/2025 |

Very shady business dealing, I do not recall an explanation of the engagement agreement, nor did I receive I copy. They will hold your money if you let them go from your case, and will charge you to get out of the case. This firm seems as if they’re money hungry, and has taken on more work than they can handle. Mishandles information you provide them for your case, had to resend information the day before court. Poor follow through/follow up when it came to my case/concerns. Very misleading, weak in court, and always seems to busy to chat. Rude once you let them go. If you’re a single father fighting for your right to see your child, do not choose Moore Law, seems to side with the opposing party. — Garrett Lee 03/19/2024 |

I should have represented myself. She did little to nothing while dragging my case out for almost 3 years. The advice she gave me caused me to lose more than I would have without her. She never remembered our previous conversations and always seemed to be helping the other side. She even encouraged me to drop criminal charges to move the case to a different county which neither myself nor my ex lived in order to "have a more fair case due to better judges" than our home county. The only benefit was to save my ex $. There isn't even a family court in the county we moved to, however the other side's lawyer was a big wig there. — erinna wever 11/16/2023 |

Thay didn't care about the law. Yes, my case is a tough pill to swallow and he said that it was wrong what had happened to me, but only sees one side of the coin. Not progressive at all. Not a lawyer who aims to represent the interests of ordinary people through political change and the support of government statements. Plus, he was 20 minutes late for my meeting after I paid a $300 consultation fee. So I got a 40 minute consultation instead. Very inconsiderate and unprofessional. — Anthony Robbins 05/10/2022 |
