There are no consultation fees for Personal Injury, Medical Malpractice, Workers Compensation and Social Security disability case. These consultations are free. Personal Injury and Medical Malpractice cases are taken on a contingent fee basis. If there is no recovery, there is no fee. Attorney fees in Workers Compensation and Social Security disability cases must be approved either by the North Carolina Industrial Commission or the Social Security Administration.
The time period for consultations depends on the particular facts involved and the complexity of the case.
If we agree to accept your case and you agree to retain our services, the fee arrangement will be discussed and agreed upon during the consultation. Typically the fees will include an up-front payment and an on-going hourly billing rate.
